Job Title Children’s and Young People’s Mental Health Practitioner
Grade: Band 5/6 Developmental
Hours: 37.5 per week to meet the needs of the service, to undertake Daytime Duty as required
At Band 6 you may be required to undertake evening and weekend work when required as part of the Out-of-Hours Service across the Business Division
Department: Children and Young People’s Mental Health Service
Reports to: Clinical Supervisor
Responsible to: Team Manager
Accountable to: Assistant Director of Children and Young People’s Business Division
To work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary CAMHS Service. To be responsible for carrying an agreed case load as a CAMHS Practitioner providing assessment and therapeutic interventions for children and young people with mental health problems and their families, in all settings relevant to service delivery.
Must be able to travel occasionally into the community.
