Healthcare Assistants – County Durham

TXM Healthcare are a multi-disciplinary award winning healthcare agency whom are currently seeking Healthcare Assistants for our client based in County Durham. Our client operate a 17 bedded mixed gender hospital providing assessment and intervention for men and women living with a learning disability and complex needs. The hospital also supports those who have additional mental or physical health needs or complex behaviours, and also individuals who are detained under the Mental Health Act.

What will the job involve?
You will undertake work that is meaningful the service users and socially important within the local community. You will be supporting vulnerable adults, some of which may present challenging behaviour and you towards helping them achieve their goals. The main focus of the hospital is to provide safe, sound and supportive care. You will have key working relationships with the nursing and multidisciplinary teams, as well as internal and external stakeholders, including service users’ families and loved ones.

• Salary £7.84 – £8.72 per hour

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
Minimum of 6 months experience in healthcare
