Specialty Doctor in Critical Care Medicine
£37,923 to £70,718 per annum
Our client is currently looking for a Specialty Doctor in Critical Care Medicine to join a large NHS Trust based in Lancashire.
The post holder will be expected to have experience in Intensive Care and be airway competent. The post holder will be expected to work under distant supervision especially during out of hour’s shifts. The post consists of 10.5 Direct Clinical Care Sessions and 1.5 SPA Session. The post holder will:- Specifically adopt, in conjunction with colleagues, an active role in the planning, development and delivery of the critical care services for the Directorate. – Provide an Critical Care service across the Trust but mainly on the main Site – Participate in the trainee critical care rota on both hospital sites with additional cover during colleagues’ absence. – Assume a continuous commitment for the care of patients, even if employed less than full-time and ensure, in consultation with colleagues, that adequate arrangements are made for leave and off duty periods. – Provide care to critically ill patients across both sites and participate in the on call rota for these sites. – Undertake administrative duties involved with the care of his/her patients.
Basic salary scale: £37,923 to £70,718 per annum depending on experience for 10 PAs (40 hours per week)This post is 10 PA’s.The Trust are offering a recruitment and retention premia (RRP) with this post.
a relocation package of up to £8000 is also available to any doctor permanently relocating to the area.Requirements:- MBBS or equivalent Hold ALS certification or Equivalent – Hold a higher Medical degree e.g. MRCP or equivalent
